Gentle Wake-Up Sequence
A short wake-up sequence loosens tight muscles and increases circulation, preparing you physically and mentally. Practice slowly at first, focusing on breath with each movement. Even five to ten minutes will leave you feeling refreshed and ready for the day.
Begin with gentle neck and shoulder rolls to release stiffness.
Move into Cat-Cow to warm the spine and awaken the body.
Flow through a few Sun Salutations to raise heart rate gently.
Add a standing forward fold to lengthen hamstrings and calm the nervous system.
Breathing and Mindfulness
Start with simple pranayama like deep diaphragmatic breaths or alternate nostril breathing to center attention.
Breath control calms the nervous system, reduces anxiety, and improves mental clarity. Pair breathing with a brief body scan to notice tension and intentionally release it before moving on.
Short Flows for Energy
Choose sequences that combine strength and mobility—warrior poses, gentle twists, and balanced standing poses are ideal. These flows build stability and confidence while keeping the practice concise.
Finish with a grounding posture and a moment of gratitude to carry positive energy into your day.
